Review: Skin Envy by ProFactor

Introducing Skin Envy by ProFactor, the new line of hair removal products made with your skin in mind. With natural ingredients like Beeswax, Sugar, Quince Seed Extract, Tamanu Extract, Argan Oil and Vitamin E. Skin Envy leaves your skin feeling smooth, nourished and hydrated.

Sugar & Beeswax Strips for Legs & Body

Retail Price: $15.99
Skin Envy Sugar & Beeswax strips remove hair for up to 6 weeks. They are convenient, ready to use and made with natural ingredients.

I get my eyebrows waxed on a regular basis, but Ive never been inclined to wax any other part of my body. I normally use razors and depilatory creams. After reading up on these strips I was convinced they would be awesome and not hurt and thought I would try and wax my legs.

To use these strips you rub them between your hands to warm the wax, then peel the strips apart and apply onto your skin. Once completely smoothed you tear off in the opposite direction of hair growth to reveal smooth, hairless legs. I wish I could say it worked that easily. I found these really messy and the wax got everywhere, plus it hurt really bad and barely pulled out any of my hair. I used one strip and after removing wax for 5-10 minutes it didn't even look like I had done any sort of hair removal. This is not a product I would grab for and I definitely would not repurchase.

Smoothing Spray Lotion for Body

Retail Price: $10.99
After any type of hair removal, pores are opened leaving the skin slightly vulnerable. Keep your skin nourished to help restore hydration and elasticity. The Smoothing Spray Lotion for Body contains Vitamin E and Argan Oil from Morocco.

I like this product, but didn't like the packaging. This unscented lotion is highly moisturizing and absorbs quickly into the skin, without leaving any greasy residue. However, this lotion is packaged in a spray bottle, but doesn't come out in a fine mist. It sort of glops out and clogs the sprayer, making a mess. I would use this on a daily basis though and would repurchase.

Both of these products can be purchased at Walmart and other fine drug stores. It is also available at www.farleyco.ca.
