Take your pout to the next level of colour-infused intensity. Mary Kay introduces breakthrough lip confidence that multi-tasks, merging stay-true colour with moisturizing skin benefits for smooth and tempting allure. The new Mary Kay True Dimensions Lipstick goes beyond ordinary lip colour with its rich shades and advanced formula. It’s like a colour-infused fountain of youth for your lips.
The Mary Kay True Dimensions Lipsticks are a mixture of everything that is good about a lipstick and balm and none of the bad. These pigmented, moisturizing sticks glide across your lips leaving fabulous colour payoff and shine without the gloss. I can’t get enough! Packed with ingredients like sunflower seed oil, jojoba, and mango butter your lips will never be dried out by these lippies. Plus Vitamin E will help protect your lips from free radicals.
The colour range of these lipsticks can be broken into pinks, purples, and oranges. There is really a colour for everyone, every look, and every occasion. The no fuss formula also means you don’t need to waste time with lip liner, concealer, or even a mirror to apply most of these colours. I would advise using a mirror for Sassy Fuchsia though, she stains.
These lipsticks are packaged in sleek silver, mirrored containers with a clear top so you can see the product inside. I really like this feature because I can see the colours in my sea of lipsticks and know exactly which shade I’m reaching for. To open simply push on the clear top and the tube will pop out of the bottom.
Because of the balmy nature I find I don’t get as long of a wear time as compared to other lipsticks. If I don’t drink or eat anything then I’ll get 2-3 hours, but I’m always drinking or eating so I re-apply these quite frequently during the day.
These lipsticks retail for $19 per 0.11oz tube of product, and all provide a satin finish. Do I think these lipsticks are worth $19 a piece? Yes and no… Part of me believes yes because they look high quality, come from a high quality brand, and offer high quality colour and formula. But on the other hand with my budget I wouldn’t spend $19 on a lipstick, not when I can buy the Revlon Lip Butters, which these remind me of, for half the price. If these were priced at $12.99 I would be all over the remaining colours in this collection.
Does price deter you from buying certain products regardless of quality?
